Woodbridge is being hit by thieves stealing GPS's out of cars. Lock up your stuff into the truck or out of sight.

I would say that you should ALWAYS leave valuable items in your trunk when you leave your car. I don't think Woodbridge or Vaughan in general is being 'hit' by thieves. There are always thieves, and always will be.

I used to use a laptop carrying case as a briefcase. Bad idea. Even though it was just filled with boring reports, I had the window of my van smashed so they could steal it. Dumb move. My window was $400.00 to replace.

Same thing happened to me. Bottom line, if they can't see it, they move on. Hide it, or lock it in the trunk.

the trunk, everything goes in there when you leave your car. If it looks valuable, if it looks mysterious, just put it in the trunk. It's all part of my routine. (just like turning my wheels towards the curb)

I recall one day cleaning my car for a few hours and there was not a mark. The next morning, I saw hand prints that resembled the pattern of when someone need to look inside a window to block the sun or light in my rear and front window. So someone is ALWAYS looking for an opportunity to capitalize. I NEVER keep anything of value in view.
